The Problem

Opening the Seal Is Only Half the Job.

  • Opening a sealed fluid container often means searching for a knife, key, or screwdriver.
  • A seal cut completely free can fall into the container and potentially enter the vehicle reservoir.
  • A close-fitting funnel can trap displaced air, causing glugging, splashing, and slow filling.

The Solution

One Tool, from Sealed Container to Reservoir.

  • The beveled tip cuts around most of the container seal.
  • A recessed, non-cutting region leaves a connected flap instead of a loose piece.
  • Use the same tool as a funnel at the vehicle reservoir.
  • The exterior venting surface lets displaced air escape as fluid flows downward.
01 / PIERCE

Open the Container.

The leading point pierces compatible foil, plastic, and laminated inner seals.

02 / RETAIN

Leave the Seal Attached.

The non-cutting region is designed to preserve a connected section. Check that the seal is secure before pouring.

03 / VENT

Give the Air a Way Out.

The recessed exterior surface provides a venting pathway to help reduce glugging and splashing.

How to Use

Open. Check.
Then Pour.

Use only with compatible containers and the correct vehicle reservoir. Follow the fluid-container and vehicle instructions. Made from blue PLA; keep the funnel away from hot engine components.

  1. Park on a level surface, turn off the engine, and allow the engine compartment to cool.
  2. Remove the cap from the fluid container to expose the inner seal.
  3. Position the flat, recessed side of the funnel tip toward the container handle. This region is designed to leave the seal attached.
  4. Place the beveled leading point against the seal and press straight downward with controlled pressure.
  5. Continue until most of the seal has been cut and folded inward, leaving it attached near the handle.
  6. Remove the funnel and confirm that the seal remains securely connected.
  7. Insert the funnel into the appropriate windshield-washer or coolant reservoir opening.
  8. Pour slowly and steadily, allowing displaced air to escape along the exterior venting surface.

Before You Order

The Details That Matter.

This listing is for the washer-fluid and antifreeze model.

Compatibility

Intended for compatible windshield washer fluid and antifreeze containers with pierceable foil, plastic, polymeric, or laminated inner seals. Container mouths, seals, and reservoir openings vary; it may not fit every container or vehicle. Review the photographs and measurements on the Etsy listing before ordering.

This is not the motor-oil model. Do not use with gasoline, diesel fuel, brake fluid, harsh solvents, or other fluids not identified for this model.

Material, finish & storage

3D printed in blue PLA. Fine layer lines and minor cosmetic variations are normal characteristics of small-batch 3D printing. An integrated hanging tab provides convenient storage.

Store away from direct sunlight, heating elements, hot engine components, and other sources of excessive heat.

Cleaning & care

Rinse thoroughly after every use and allow the funnel to dry completely. To prevent cross-contamination, dedicate it to one automotive fluid or clean it thoroughly before changing fluids.

Handle and Use with Care.

The beveled tip is intentionally sharp. Keep it away from children. Follow all fluid-container warnings and wear appropriate eye and skin protection. Allow the engine compartment to cool before use.

Antifreeze and some washer fluids are poisonous if swallowed and can be hazardous to people and animals. Clean spills promptly and dispose of contaminated material properly.
