For routine food-scrap handling and splash-guard cleaning.

  1. Turn the garbage disposal completely OFF before inserting or using SinkShark. Never place it into a running disposal.
  2. GUIDE: Gather loose food scraps and guide them toward the disposal opening with the scraper end.
  3. SCRAPE: Use the same edge to loosen food stuck to the sink surface and move it toward the opening.
  4. PLUNGE: With scraps over the opening, use the broad pusher to move them through the flexible splash guard. Keep the disposal off.
  5. CLEAN: The angled ribs wipe the splash guard flaps as the pusher moves in and out. Withdraw SinkShark completely before turning the disposal on.
  6. Rinse SinkShark thoroughly after use and allow it to dry.
